Judy Heimlich, M.A., L.P.

My experience in the mental health field dates back to 1990 when I opened my private practice. In addition to my practice, I have experience with in-home crisis work, managing a mental health department in an emergency room, helping to open a crisis home for patients transitioning from hospitalization, and mental health clinic work, where I currently specialize in working with cancer patients and their families from diagnosis to end-of-life care when needed.

I watched my 23-year-old daughter enjoy horses from the time she took her first riding lesson at the age of seven. She has introduced me to the joys of being involved with and riding horses in the past few years. It has been a fantastic new area of awakening for me, and I’m thrilled about combining my love of psychology with my newfound love of being involved with horses!!
