Naomi Farr

The “horse thing” started young. I’ve been riding since I was 8 when I got my first pony. They have provided emotional support, confidence building, non-judgmental companionship and pure pleasure for 66 years. My hope is that our work at St. Francis Center will offer opportunities to others so they too can enjoy these wonderful benefits.

Not so important stuff: Grew up on a farm by Franklin, MN. U of M Interior Design, develop and manage Senior Housing, raised, bred and showed American Saddlebred horses. Have 6 children who all rode and showed horses, except one. He declared after a short time, “I hate nature, I hate horses”. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
